1. In December 2017, about 200 cooks from the small town of Minas, Uruguay, barbecued 18 tons of raw meat for 14 hours, using 66 tons of wood and resulting in 11.4 tons of cooked meat. 2. Douglas Smith of Stanstead Abbotts, England, grew 839 tomatoes on a single truss of the plant! 3. Mike LaFond of Westfield, Massachusetts, could bear-ly believe his eyes when he spotted three bears playing on his backyard's playground set and in his inflatable pool.
