1. A manuscript containing handwritten notes by Albert Einstein that form the foundations of his Theory of Relativity sold at auction in November 2021 for $13 million. 2. After construction of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) began in 2004, thousands of people from 14 countries spent 40 million hours building the scientific marvel. 3. To fit inside the rocket that sent it to space, the JWST had to be folded up like origami and will carefully unfold as it journeys to its destination in the cosmos. 4. With its 21-foot-wide, gold-plated mirror, the JWST will allow us to peer more than 13 billion years into the past, about 100 million-250 million years after the Big Bang.
